Founder and Publisher of 3 National Publications: ORIGIN Magazine, Mantra Yoga+Health and Thrive Magazine. She partners with the most effective organizations and artists impacting, preserving and protecting the planet, endangered species and human rights. Former Conflict Journalist, Photographer and Artist, using art for impact with a passion for telling the stories of the voiceless. ORIGIN is a top selling magazine in Whole Foods and other retailers nationally. It is a platform for environmental and humanitarian issues, conscious culture, yoga and mindfulness.
She uses celebrities and recognizable figures to bring awareness about issues into the main stream, reframing culture and getting our message out of the choir. She is a partner/member with Clinton Global Initiative, Speaker/Partner with the UN Foundation and Summit, Fortune under 40, Board Member: SXSW, World Wildlife Fund, African Wildlife Foundation, Conservation Intl, Wild Aid, Virgin Unite, Ocean Elders, and 30+ Organizations moving the needle. Her art collaborations have appeared in Times Square, The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC and the Pompidou in Paris. She focuses on empowering women using art for social, political and environmental change. Her TV show, Lessons from the Edge, launches in 2014. Her ORIGIN Eco series: a series of short films launches in 2014 with an emphasis on the Oceans, endangered species and climate action, filmed in 6 continents and 10 countries.
