Jan is a pioneer in the cannabis industry in Colorado. She is the Founder of The Farm, a leading recreational marijuana dispensary located in Boulder, CO. In business since 2009, The Farm has been on the forefront of regulatory and policy creation for an emerging marijuana industry.
Working to change the negative perception of marijuana, Jan created a warm, inviting retail environment that is appealing to women and mainstream culture. Her goal is to create positive social change through the legalization of marijuana. Legalization reduces arrest rates and decreases crime related to black-market activities, allowing law enforcement to focus on violent crimes.
The Farm supports DPA, MPP, SSDP, NCIA and Women Grow along with many local organizations who choose not to be mentioned because of the stigma that still exists around marijuana.
