National Poetry Slam Champion & Multi-platinum Winning Songwriter

In-Q, short for In-Question, is a National Poetry Slam Champion and multi-platinum winning songwriter. Beginning as a member of the largest poetry mic in the United States, Da Poetry Lounge in Los Angeles, In-Q has performed on Russell Simmons' HBO Def Poetry Jam, alongside Richard Branson at the first TEDx in a California state prison, and for Quincy Jones, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama. As a poet and rapper, he’s shared the stage with legendary artists John Legend, Eminem, De La Soul, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and is at the forefront of the movement to reignite poetry into popular culture.

His groundbreaking collaborations range from being the first poet to perform at a Cirque Du Soleil production on both the famed “O” stage at the Bellagio and the “One Theater” at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas to co-writing this year's Official Coca Cola World Cup Anthem to performing multiple poems on ESPN for the World Series of Poker.

In the world of songwriting, In-Q has a publishing deal with Rock Mafia and his #1 hit single “Love You Like a Love Song” by Selena Gomez went multi-platinum and won him a BMI award. He’s written with renowned artists including Mike Posner, Miley Cyrus, and Aloe Blacc and his music has been featured on the season four commercial campaign for Emmy winning TV show Homeland and as the theme for FOX’s Gotham series and EA Sports' Battlefield IV.

Ultimately, In-Q writes to entertain, inspire, and challenge his audiences to look deeper into the human experience, and ask questions about themselves, their environment, and the world at large.
