Writer, Performer, Educator and Activist
Dominique Christina is an award-winning performance poet and author. She is a National Poetry Slam Champion and two-time Women of the World Poetry Slam Champion. Heart and Soul Magazine, HYSTERIA magazine, The Independent, Alight Literary Magazine, and various other literary magazines have published her work. Her book “The Bones, The Breaking, The Balm: A Colored Girl’s Hymnal” is available now from Penmanship Books NY. She performs and lectures at colleges and universities all over the country. Her work has been featured on Upworthy and Huffington Post. She is mother to four wildly expressive children who do not use inside voices, ever.
